THE ENCHANTED ISLAND
ARRIVAL OF A PRINCESS
Down in the mysterious abyss, inside the gigantic sphere on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean stood a magical kingdom that was invisible to the human eye.
Golden crowns with precious stones and pearls in amazing shapes and colors were being illuminated by their soft light. And King Ocean’s majestic golden spear sustained the magnificent brightness encircling the palace.
Charming mermaids were gliding around the hall and gracefully swaying their pretty light-green tails in the rhythm of the algae. Pink scalloped shells, strapped with strong strands of seaweed, covered the mermaids’ delicate bosoms. With their soft, long dark hair, it made them look even more beautiful. The mermen, moving alongside them, looked handsome and brawny. Their fine dark hair was neatly cut. Most of them had blue eyes. Quite a few had light and dark brown ones. And some even had purple. Though not very many had green eyes.
Shortly, one of the king’s loyal merguards swam out from a special room. He faced the merpeople, held up his silver spear against his broad chest. "The arrival of a newborn princess has come!" he announced enthusiastically.
GUARDIANS of the ENCHANTED ISLAND
From Chapter Two:
"You looked like the beautiful princess mermaid that Daddy drew on my book, Mommy!" Aligi yelled, noticing his mother's tail at last. Alona was also curiously eyeing the golden tail. Mariana gave her husband an odd look. "Really?" Mariana asked. She held the twins' hands and started to move on. Her beautiful golden tail was swaying with the motion of the water. Onar followed behind Mariana, he could not help but admire his lovely wife.
"Look, Mommy! Two big seahorses are on their way here!" Alona pointed out. Mariana had just realized they were getting closer to the palace. She knew that her father, King Ocean, had seen them coming from his magical giant scallop shell.
